The Mountain Artists Guild is hosting a three-month juried exhibition at the prestigious Phippen Museum celebrating the talent and diversity of Guild members. All mediums are welcome, and artwork will be juried based on overall body of work and artistic merit.

  • Online Application Deadline: September 1, 2026 at 9 PM
  • Gallery Intake: October 5, 2026 (Monday)
  • Exhibition Dates: October 10, 2026 – January 10, 2027

Open to current Mountain Artists Guild members only. Arizona artists in all media are encouraged to join as members and then apply.

  • Original Paintings (Watercolor, Oil, Acrylic, Water media, Pastel, Color Pencils, Inks, Etchings, Mixed Media Collage, etc.)
  • Photography (all types of photography mediums)
  • 3-Dimensional Objects (sculpture, pottery/ceramics, woodworking, stone carving, mixed-media objects, mosaics, fiber arts, tile work, glass art, etc.)
  • Jewelry (100% handcrafted, metal, minerals, gems, beads, polymer clay, leather)

Minimum canvas or frame size for paintings or photographs is 154 square inches (e.g., 14 x 11 inches); maximum canvas or paper size is 1728 square inches. Prints, giclees, and printed items such as tote bags, pouches, and towels should NOT be entered.

  • $50 per artist for up to 5 submissions
  • Payment by credit card only
  • Members agree to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours during the exhibition period or pay a "buyout" fee of $50

All artwork must be available for sale. Commission split: Artist 75%, Phippen Museum 15%, Mountain Artists Guild 10%. Sales proceeds distributed approximately two weeks after exhibition closes.

All submissions must be entered online using ArtCall.org. Artwork must be delivered in person during intake on October 5, 2026—no shipping permitted. Upon acceptance, artists will receive an email to schedule a delivery appointment.

Final artwork selections will be coordinated with accepted artists before intake. Artists may substitute artwork that sold during the Prescott Area Artists Studio Tour. Not all 5 submitted pieces are guaranteed acceptance. Nude imagery or work inappropriate for family viewing will not be accepted.
