Get matched →Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS) invites distinguished curators, art critics, and cultural researchers from around the world to participate in the Curator Residency Program. Selected curators will conduct research in Tokyo, mentor local emerging creators, and present their work to the public.
TOKAS Residency is located in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, an area featuring old town culture and local industries. Nearby attractions include Ryogoku Kokugikan (Sumo Hall), Sumida Hokusai Museum, Edo-Tokyo Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, and Tokyo Skytree.
Selected curators are required to give mentoring sessions to local emerging creators and deliver a public talk (Curator Talk or Open Studio Talk).
