Overview
Paint Bethesda features outdoor paintings of downtown Bethesda's buildings, icons, scenes, and landmarks. Capture an iconic image—whether it's Tastee Diner, the Capital Crescent Trail, Bethesda Lane, or another favorite spot in downtown Bethesda—and submit for the chance to exhibit your work.
Eligibility
All residents of Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., including high school artists, are encouraged to enter this painting competition.
Exhibition & Awards
Top prize-winning artists will be featured at The Writer's Center this December, with up to $4,500 given to prize winners.
How to Enter
Come to downtown Bethesda and paint plein air or paint a Bethesda icon in studio, then submit your work.
