Joined by artists from Army and Navy Academy, and, for all veterans, and service families. Event Schedule: November 11, 2025, 11am Veterans Parade/Flyover: 11am - 12pm Reception and Art Exhibition to follow Deadline to submit is October 25, 2026 @ noon .. PROSPECTUS: Artwork Requirements All art must be made by a US Veteran and/or service family members. (Artworks will need to meet the below requirements in order to qualify. We are not using nails, and hanging on fabric cubical panels, so weight is important) We will be selecting a Best of Show, on November 9, and it will be placed at the Academy during the event and afterwards. The winner is to be announced on November 10th. All Veterans artists will be provided participation appreciation ribbons as well as 1st through HM. Drop off date is NOV 9 by 2 pm at the North Coastal Art Gallery (no exceptions please) All art will remain at the Army and Navy Academy, after the event until November 18 and can be for sale. or for just exhibition purposes. Pickup date is on Tuesday, November 18, 9-4pm only (no exceptions), at the Army & Navy Academy. At the check in gate, ask for Mike or Ty to pick up your artwork. They will escort you. Otherwise You may contact Joan Hansen at 619-227-2385 between NOV 6 - NOV 11th. __________________ You may submit up to two pieces of artwork to represent yourselves. 2D Artwork: No glass fronts on artwork at all or over the size of a 16"x20". Weight must not exceed 1.5lbs, any heavy frames will not work. Canvas, gallery wrapped or painted sides is preferred. Sizes can be 8"x10" up to 24"x36" maximum-(normally canvas, not framed for the large size). Only one may be a large submission if submitting two artworks. All art must be wired, and ready to hang, no alligator hooks. 3D Sculpture: Art will be placed on tables, or if tall, it will be placed on floor. 3D Hanging Sculpture: Art or heavier pieces must be no larger than 24"x36", and you must provide the hanging apparatus to be placed over the top edge of the panels.
