Overview

The 5th International Mountain Short Film Contest/Festival CORTALP 'Alpine Short Films' is curated by Aldo Faleri and Francesco Zurlo, in collaboration with the Italian Alpine Club (CAI). The competition, titled 'Manlio Armellini' International Prize, invites students to create videos on mountain themes and their relationship with design, architecture, graphics, and communication.

Eligibility

All students from universities in France, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, and Slovenia are invited to participate.

Theme

Original works, real or fictional, must tell the story of the mountain, exploring its history, culture, and traditions as bridges toward the future. Films should address mountain themes including environment, nature, ecology, energy, culture, tradition, lifestyle, food, sports, safety, tourism, and economy, with particular attention to innovative and sustainable proposals.
