Overview
MVA Gallery (Modern Visual Arts) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania invites artists, photographers and sculptors of all levels to submit original portrait artwork. The call is national and open to all styles and techniques.
Theme
Submit traditional or non-traditional imagery of a single individual, couple or group. Artwork may show a close-up face or half-length/full-body pose. Styles include idealized, neutral, psychological, satirical, celebratory or cultural impressions. Environmental portraits showing individuals in their surroundings, self-portraits (formal or informal, including selfies), and distorted or surreal portraits are welcome.

Size & Format Requirements
- Art: not larger than 48 inches (framed) on longest side, not over 45 lbs
- Sculpture: not larger than 28 inches on any dimension
- All images must be JPEG, under 5 MB, minimum 1200 pixels on longest side
- Artwork must be professionally finished and ready for secure installation
- Paintings must have stretched wire attached to back (sawtooth hangers not acceptable)
- Plexiglass preferred over standard glass for shipped artwork
Submission Details
Submit through CAFE (CallForEntry) at https://www.callforentry.org. Include title, medium, size, price and year of completion for each image. Minimum 1 entry, maximum 9 images per artist.
