Ruido Blanco is an artist residency program located in Puerto Iguazú, Argentina, designed to stimulate creative and immersive thinking. Artists, writers, photographers, anthropologists, sociologists, and curators are invited to explore this territory of cultural diversity and extraordinary biodiversity, living with other artists in a house surrounded by jungle facing the Iguazú River.

  • Starts: September 3, 2023
  • Ends: September 29, 2023
  • Artists stay for the full month of September

Artists stay in a large house surrounded by nature, sharing a room with one other person. Rooms are large with private bathrooms and are assigned randomly by lottery system.

The house has two work spaces: one indoors and one outdoors.

The residency includes project workshops, cultural outings, visits to local artists' studios, and community activities. The program concludes with an open studio where artists share their process with the community.

Open to artists, writers, photographers, anthropologists, sociologists, and curators.

Artists are responsible for their own equipment and are expected to develop their proposed project and present their process in an open studio by month's end.
