Naples Art Institute's Art in the Park 2026 (Fall)

Overview

Naples Art Institute, located at Cambier Park by Park Street and 5th Ave South, is hosting Art in the Park 2026 (Fall). The fair accepts a wide range of original artwork across multiple media categories. Accepted artists receive complimentary access to the museum exhibition and hospitality support.

Eligibility

• All artwork must be original work designed and executed by the accepted artist
• Artists must be physically present in their booths during all art show days and hours
• No agents, representatives, family members, or friends may substitute for accepted artists
• Booths are for individual exhibiting artists and may not be shared among multiple artists
• Collaborating artists may apply as a single exhibitor if the collaboration is artistic (not business) and clearly defined in the artist statement; both collaborators must be present during all show hours

What Is Not Accepted

• Work solely created by applicants' apprentices or employees
• Commercial agents, dealers, manufacturers, or buy/sell vendors
• Artwork created from commercially available molds, patterns, kits, or mass production
• Work made from ready-made items with added embellishments
• Copies of masters, advertisements, widely circulated photographs, or trademarked work
• Posters, laser prints, t-shirts, postcards, calendars, cards, or promotional items

Art Categories Accepted

• Ceramics: Original shaped and fired clay (earthenware, porcelain, stoneware, terracotta); may not be machine-made or mass produced
• Digital Art: Signed original work created by the artist using a computer, printed with archival quality materials
• Fiber/Wearable: Original non-wearable fiber artwork (basketry, batik, weaving, tapestry, papermaking) or original clothing and leather goods
• Furniture: Original functional work in any material
• Glass: Original work including blown glass, fused glass, or stained glass
• Drawing/Printmaking/Graphics: Two-dimensional work using graphite, ink, charcoal, pastels, or transfer printing processes
• Jewelry: All jewelry in precious metals/stones or semi-precious/costume materials; no commercial cast or molds
• Metal: Original metalwork without use of production studios
• Mixed Media 2D: Collage and handmade paper with multiple media and relief depth less than 1/8 inch
• Mixed Media 3D: Original non-functional work combining multiple materials with depth exceeding 1/8 inch
• Painting: Oil, acrylic, egg tempera, casein, or alkyd on canvas; or watercolor on paper
• Photography: Signed prints from the artist's original negative or digital files
• Sculpture: Original three-dimensional work in stone or other hard material
• Wood: Original hand-tooled, machine worked, built-up, turned, or carved work in wood

Work Compliance

Work displayed and sold at the fair must be consistent with the images submitted by the artist. An NAI Committee member will inspect all booths during the fair to ensure compliance. By applying, artists certify that all submitted images represent their original work.

Booth Requirements

Accepted artists must be present in their booths during all art show days and hours. No agents, representatives, family members, or friends may substitute for accepted artists. NAI's booth-sitter service is available for short breaks.
