THERE ARE OVER 300 ARTIST IN THE PERMANENT COLLECTION The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia’s permanent collection began with works by 110 Georgia artists consigned from both the corporate collection of Atlanta-based CGR Advisors, and the personal art collection of David S. Golden. MOCA GA collects and archives significant, contemporary works by the artists of the state of Georgia from 1945 to the present. To place its artists in a global context, the Museum’s exhibitions include Georgia artists and artists from around the world. Programming, which includes artist talks, panel discussions, diverse exhibitions, the Working Artist Project, and many more, create a forum for active interchange between artists and the community.
