Get matched →Artists in the Library is a partnership between Toronto Arts Council and Toronto Public Library that provides paid opportunities and space for professional artists to create and deliver free community-engaged arts programming at library branches in designated Toronto areas. Funding is provided by the City of Toronto.
Professional artists, not-for-profit arts organizations, or artist collectives operating on a not-for-profit basis. Individuals must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, pending PR applicants, or protected persons; have a Social Insurance Number; and be able to provide documentation if requested.
Programming may take place at Toronto Public Library branches in Etobicoke, York, North York, Toronto & East York, or Scarborough. For Toronto & East York, downtown locations (south of St. Clair, east of Jane, west of Don Valley) are not eligible. TPL staff will assign the specific branch based on suitability and availability.
