Get matched →The DiP Magazine takes its name from the Cantonese colloquial, gendered term “dīn pó”—hysteric, crazy bitches. While the insult was reserved for women who talk too much, feel too loudly, think too unconventionally, or refuse to age quietly out of the frame, we adopt it here to describe the work we aim to publish. The DiP Magazine is a newly-founded, experimental publication for cultural criticism, dedicated to feminist and queer practices. Motivated by our devotion to an expanded narrative of such practices, we publish works that address any geography and context. We welcome essays, reviews, interviews, and artworks, as well as productions and projects that do not yet know exactly what form they want to take. If you are an artist, writer, scholar, or cultural worker looking for a space to share what you have been thinking, questioning, or experimenting with, we are that space for you.
