About

Overview

Bridgwater Arts Centre is seeking applications from South West designer-makers to take part in a Christmas Contemporary Craft & Design Exhibition. Selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell high-quality handmade work during the festive season.

Key dates

  • Submission deadline: 25 September 2026
  • Applicants notified: 16 October 2026
  • Artwork delivery: 23 November, 9 am–12 pm
  • Opening: 28 November, 11 am–3 pm
  • Collection of unsold artwork: 19 December, 12–3 pm
  • Exhibition opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am–3 pm

Eligibility

South West artists and makers.

Submission requirements

  • Up to 6 works per artist
  • All artwork must be handmade and available for the duration of the exhibition
  • Work will be for sale

Fees and sales

  • Entry fee: Free
  • Gallery commission: 30% of sales
  • Payment to artists made within 30 days of the end of the exhibition

Selection and notification

Applications will be reviewed by the Arts Centre team, and successful applicants will be notified by 16 October 2026.

Publicity and access

Social media, website, newsletter, local press and listings will provide publicity. The location has disabled access.
