Get matched →DCA's Cultural Grants Program invests in free and low-cost, public cultural activities and presentations taking place in the City of Los Angeles. Nonprofit arts organizations may propose Artistic Projects in Dance, Music, Theatre, or Transdisciplinary Arts for 2027-28. Limited funding ($3,000-$5,000) is available for off-cycle proposals in Culture/History, Design-Visual Arts, Literary Arts, Media Arts, and Traditional-Folk Arts. Youth-education SAIL-CAPE projects are also supported. Nonprofit community-service organizations may partner with tribal elders, arts curators, or arts agencies to propose outdoor festivals or parades.

DCA offers free coaching resources including webinars, office hours, and recorded sessions posted on DCA's YouTube channel. First-time applicants and those new to the DCA Grants program are especially encouraged to register. All applicants must RSVP at least two business days before attending a workshop.
Outdoor festival/parade proposals are accepted each year but outdoor performing-arts festivals are best submitted in even-numbered calendar years while outdoor craft fairs are best submitted in odd-numbered calendar years. Panel scores may be held for two consecutive years, so applicants are encouraged to propose projects that can be repeated.
