Program Overview
From Forest to Woodshop: The Art of Furniture Making is an 8-week, 320-hour full-time intensive program in wood furniture and products innovation. Students explore specific woodworking practices through modules in bowl turning and keepsake vessels, green woodworking and chairmaking, casework design and veneering, and wood bending techniques. The curriculum blends traditional and advanced techniques, combining hand tools with stationary power tools, delivered through project-based assignments, forestry and woodworking-related field trips, and expert instructors.

Eligibility
