This grant supports accessibility improvements for arts and culture performances and exhibitions in Tokyo. It aims to expand viewing support for audiences and participants who need assistance, increase opportunities to engage with arts and culture, and promote understanding of accessibility needs across society.

Must be based in Japan, self-organize and fund the eligible project, and have completed the Arts Council Tokyo accessibility course "Viewing Support Introduction" (video).

Public performances and exhibitions in Tokyo across music, theater, dance, visual arts, photography, media arts (film, manga, anime, games), traditional arts, performing arts, living culture (tea ceremony, flower arrangement, calligraphy), and interdisciplinary art activities. Multiple performances or exhibitions within the target period may be combined in a single application.

All projects must take place in Tokyo.

Up to 1,500,000 yen to cover viewing support costs (100% subsidy based on actual expenses).

Online applications accepted rolling from April 22, 2026 (2:00 PM onwards), ending when the total allocated budget is reached.
