Submit original fine art paintings (including drawing, sketches, ink and other 2D productions) and fine art photographs (including film based, digital, infrared and alternative processes) for juried selection and potential exhibition.

The 2027 Small Stones Festival of the Arts is a juried exhibition of fine art painting and fine art photography held at the Brigham Hill Community Barn in North Grafton, Massachusetts. The festival, now in its eighth year, is a collaboration of the Worcester County Camera Club and the Blackstone Valley Art Association. Selected works will be published in an annual hardbound catalog, and all submissions will appear in the Web Gallery.

  • Intake of juried artwork: January 26-27, 2027
  • Awards Ceremony: Saturday, January 30, 2027, 2 PM
  • Exhibition closes: Sunday, February 7, 2027, 4 PM
  • Pickup artwork: Sunday, February 7, 2027, 4-6 PM; Monday, February 8, 2027, 4-7 PM

Open to international artists. Works that were juried into the exhibition in previous years may not be submitted again.

  • Maximum size: 26" on the longest edge - measure the FRAME, not the canvas/print
  • Must have a hanging wire - not a sawtooth or other type hanger
  • Maximum 5 entries per artist, of which up to 2 may be selected for in-person exhibition
  • High-quality photo of artwork required, suitable for inclusion in the catalog
  • Photo format: JPEG or PNG files accepted (size limit 4 MB)
  • Minimum resolution: 1500 pixels on longest edge; maximum 4800 pixels on longest edge
  • Nonrefundable submission fee: $10 per entry
  • No registration fee
  • Intake: January 26-27, 2027 (noon-7 PM and noon-4 PM respectively)
  • Pickup: Sunday, February 7, 2027 (4-6 PM) and Monday, February 8, 2027 (4-7 PM)
