The Town of Six-Fours-les-Plages opens its 2027 call for 30-day artist residencies at Maison du Patrimoine François Flohic, facing the Mediterranean. The residency combines research, creation, public encounters, and workshops. Eight residency periods are offered between February and December 2027.

Who May Apply

Professional visual artists, French and international. International artists must hold a business identifier equivalent to SIRET allowing them to issue invoices and must be in compliance with tax and social obligations.

What You Receive

Each resident receives a studio of over 90 m², a housing studio, and a stipend of 1,440 EUR. The team provides accompaniment and support during public interventions. The residence is located at Maison du Patrimoine facing the Mediterranean in a Natura 2000-protected environment.

Application Requirements

• Professional visual artist status required
• SIRET number or equivalent
• Must be in compliance with tax and social obligations
• Provide CV, one-page artist statement (note of intention), and portfolio of up to 10 pages
• Indicate multiple residency periods in order of preference
• Propose times for public engagement, workshops, and meetings
• Propose a project coherent with the local environment
• Supply your own materials and tools
• Provide your own transportation to Six-Fours-les-Plages

Fees & Deposit

Application is free. However, a 500 EUR deposit is required upon arrival. It is not charged unless damage is found in the studio or apartment.
