Overview

The Fundación Ses12naus opens its artistic residency program 2026-2027 for visual artists and curators interested in developing projects linked to the context of Ibiza. Conceived as a space for research, creation and exchange, the program accompanies projects from initial exploration through development and public presentation.

Eligibility

Open to artists and curators from the Balearic Islands, Spain, or Europe. The program selects four projects total and welcomes artistic and curatorial practices capable of establishing significant relationships with Ibiza, its communities, imaginaries, and cultural and natural heritage.

Awards

Four projects will be selected. Each receives honorarios (residency + public activity) of 2,100 euros.

Program Structure

The residency is structured in two on-site phases separated by a period of monitoring and remote work. During Phase 1 (Autumn 2026), selected artists will explore the island's context, begin research processes, and establish connections with local agents, spaces and communities. Phase 2 (Spring 2027) focuses on project development and materialization, culminating in a public presentation of processes and results. The Ses12naus team provides active follow-up and accompaniment between phases.
