The Arts & Culture Alliance announces Ann and Steve Bailey Opportunity Grants, a funding program providing training and technical support to individual artists and small, professionally-oriented arts and culture organizations (budgets under $100,000). Up to $100,000 combined is available. Awards range from $100 to $30,000.

Applicants must live within 50 miles of downtown Knoxville and be members of the Arts & Culture Alliance. Membership is open to all. Previous grantees are eligible to apply.

Grants support projects and programs taking place July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024. Projects exploring new creative avenues, wrestling with new ideas to advance creative work, and strengthening business practices are especially encouraged. Most past awards have gone toward training and equipment, but all qualifying projects are considered.

The application receipt deadline is midnight on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to speak with Liza Zenni, Executive Director of the Arts & Culture Alliance, prior to applying. Email [email protected] to request a phone or Zoom meeting during Tuesday–Friday, February 7–10, 8 AM – 7 PM (EST).
