Overview
River Oaks' small art spectacle returns for 2026. The 11th Annual 5x5x5 highlights a fascinating showing of miniature works from artists across the U.S. This signature event allows patrons to purchase unique, original works of art for holiday gifting or as additions to their collections. Guest Juror for the 2026 exhibition is artist and educator Tyler Barnes, an Associate Professor of Art at UM.

Eligibility
- Open to all visual artists nationally
- Original works only (prints/reproductions not accepted; etchings/woodcuts accepted)
Media & Size
- 2D: no larger than 5×5 inches or 25 square inches
- 3D: no larger than 5"h × 5"w × 5"d
- Matting: off-white or white only, no exaggerated matting
- Frame and mat combined: no larger than 11×14 inches; wired hanging method preferred

Sales & Commission
All works must be for sale. River Oaks receives a 30% commission on works sold. Artwork prices entered in the CaFE system at submission are final and cannot be changed after acceptance. Unsold works may remain in the Gallery Gift Shop following the exhibition (30% commission still applies) or be returned.
Shipping & Delivery
Artists are responsible for shipping and insurance costs to and from the Art Center. Accepted artwork must be delivered by 5 pm Friday, November 1. Shipments should include a return shipping label or contact the Art Center if no label is included. Entries will be returned in the same wrapping received (no peanuts).
