Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore Invitational Agoura Hills Mayor's Art Show

Allied Artists Agoura Hills Mayor's Art Show Every year the mayor of Agoura Hills hosts an art show for local artists. This year the Mayor has chosen the theme "Nature, Earth and the Landscapes Around Us". The Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore have been invited to be the featured artists for this celebrated and much anticipated annual art event. You must be a current (2026) member of the Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore whose 2026 membership began prior to September 20 to be eligible for this invitational call. Agoura Hills is situated within the Santa Monica Mountains Recreation Area, a primary geographical location favored by, and focus of, the Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore. The exhibit will feature the local beauty spots and favored painting locations of our area. There will be 70-75 paintings chosen for the show, which will take place at the beautiful Agoura Hills Recreation and Events Center. The paintings will hang from November 5 to December 8. Paintings that are sold during the exhibit will be 80% to the artists, and 20% to the Cultural Arts Council of Agoura Hills. All sales and disbursements of revenue to the artists will be handled by the city. The Artwork must be original and reflective of the stated theme. Artists will provide their own insurance if desired.
