Myth, Magic and Folklore is a 2D art exhibition celebrating whimsical, ethereal, and sometimes spooky works. The gallery, Total Eclipse of the Art Gallery in Warrington, is independently run with no commission on wall sales.

Submit up to 3 pieces of 2D art via email by midnight Wednesday 16th September 2026. Include artist name, title of art, and medium with your submission.

  • Open to anyone who creates art without AI
  • Handcrafted pieces only (digital art/photography accepted)
  • Must be family friendly
  • Maximum size per piece: 50cm X 60cm including framing
  • Must have D-hooks and picture string for hanging
  • Back of artwork must be clearly labelled with artist name, title of art, medium, and price
  • Application deadline: Midnight 16th September 2026
  • Notification of acceptance by 23rd September 2026
  • Payment of hanging fee by Midnight 29th September 2026
  • Drop off of artwork: Friday 2nd October 12:30 - 4pm
  • Exhibition runs: 3rd October - 31st October 2026
  • Pick up of artwork: Saturday 31st October 10:30 – 12 noon
  • Entry fee: Free
  • Hanging fee: £5 per piece accepted

All entries will be reviewed by an independent panel. All work must be family friendly and no bigger than 50cm x 60cm including frame.

Artists are responsible for insuring their own artworks. Funds from sales will be given at pick up or through bank transfer. Exhibition hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm. The gallery has a portable ramp available for disabled access.
