Overview
mille formes Montpellier, a free art initiation center for children ages 0-6, invites applications for the design, creation, and installation of an artistic installation for children aged 0-2 and their accompanying adults. The project combines artistic awakening, wonder-based pedagogy, and multisensory experience, aligned with neuroscience research and eco-design principles.
Exhibition Details
The installation will be presented in the "La Bulle aux bébés" exhibition space from March 21 to August 15, 2027, followed by an itinerant tour with partner venues.
Jury Process
The selection follows a participatory approach with children as decision-makers. A jury of child experts, guided by mille formes Montpellier, will evaluate final proposals.
Budget & Compensation
- Artist honorarium (or artist group) with exploitation rights and public presentation time: 5,000 EUR TTC
- Design, production, transport, and installation costs: 7,000 EUR TTC
- Additional funding available for proposed workshops with child experts, to be determined based on the artist's or artist group's proposal and mille formes Montpellier team

Selection Process
