Naples National Art Fair 2027 - 48th Annual

Overview

Naples Art Institute is the hub of the Naples National Art Fair, located at the corner of Cambier Park by Park Street and 5th Ave South. Accepted artists receive complimentary access to the museum exhibition. Booths are for individual exhibiting artists and may not be shared.

Eligibility & conditions

All artwork must be original work designed and executed by the accepted artist. Accepted artists must be present in their booths during all art show days and hours. No agents, representatives, family members, or friends may substitute; NAI's booth-sitter service is available for short breaks.

Art categories accepted

• Ceramics (original shaped and fired clay; no machine-made or mass-produced)
• Digital Art (signed original work created with digital technology, printed archivally)
• Fiber/Wearable (original non-wearable fiber art or original clothing/leather goods)
• Furniture (original functional work in any material)
• Glass (original blown, fused, or stained glass)
• Drawing/Printmaking/Graphics (drawings in graphite, ink, charcoal, pastels, or other media; printmaking via transfer process)
• Jewelry—Precious (gold, sterling silver, precious stones, enamel on precious metals)
• Jewelry—Semi-Precious (costume or non-precious metals, glass, clay, paper, fiber, wood, leather, polymer clay)
• Metal (original metalwork without use of production studio)
• Mixed Media 2D (collage, handmade paper; more than one media, relief depth less than 1/8 inch)
• Mixed Media 3D (original non-functional work combining multiple materials, depth exceeds 1/8 inch)
• Painting—Oil/Acrylic (still life, portrait, landscape, abstract on flat surface)
• Painting—Watercolor (watercolor on paper)
• Photography (signed prints from artist's original negative or digital files, processed by artist or under direct supervision)
• Sculpture (original three-dimensional work in stone or hard material)
• Wood (original hand-tooled, machine worked, built-up, turned or carved work)

What will not be accepted

• Work solely created by applicants' apprentices or employees
• Commercial agents, dealers, manufacturers, or buy/sell vendors
• Artwork from commercially available molds, patterns, kits, or volume production studios
• Ready-made items like clothing or furniture with only painted, dyed, or embellished additions
• Copies of masters, advertisements, widely circulated photographs, or registered trademarks
• Posters, laser prints, t-shirts, postcards, calendars, cards, or other promotional items

Collaboration policy

Collaborating artists who jointly produce single works may apply as a single exhibitor if the collaboration is artistic (from creative planning through execution) and not solely a business arrangement. Collaborations must be identified on the application with each artist's efforts clearly defined in the artist statement. Acceptance is at the discretion of Naples Art Institute, and both collaborating artists must be present during all show hours.

Application requirements

By applying, all artists certify that images submitted represent their original work, including both design and production. Work displayed and sold must be consistent with images submitted; NAI Committee members will inspect booths during the fair for compliance.
