Gather with fellow guests and commune with spirits—some familiar, others not so much—who have remained trapped within these walls for years. Madame Morta is an exceptionally gifted medium… perhaps too gifted. But surely there’s no danger in a little mysticism, a touch of witchcraft, and a conversation with the dead. What could possibly go wrong? ABOUT From October 17–31, the Alliance for the Arts campus transforms into Stage Fright Nights: Summoning the Damned, a theatrical Halloween experience filled with haunted attractions, live entertainment, themed events, and interactive activities to celebrate “spooky season” across Southwest Florida. At the heart of the event is Summoning the Damned, an immersive haunted house where Madame Morta’s séance has unleashed the restless souls of the theatre’s past. Brought to life by local artists, actors, and designers, the experience blends storytelling, performance, and scares into a one-of-a-kind horror adventure. But Stage Fright Nights is more than a haunted house. Throughout the run, guests can enjoy themed sideshows and special events, including family-friendly experiences, community fundraisers, art activations, games, live performances, scary live storytelling, and a touch-allowed night in the haunted house. Less Scare, More Care is a family-friendly celebration that brings our community together for a safe, playful, and festive evening. Whether you’re coming in costume or just looking to enjoy the autumn spirit, there’s something for everyone. There will be NO HAUNTED HOUSE during this event. Wed. Oct 21 – Less Scare More Care Community Night – Haunted Maze Closed GET INVOLVED Join fellow artists, volunteers, and Halloween enthusiasts for hands-on prop-building workshops where we transform everyday items into eerie, theatrical creations for our haunted experience. No special skills are required—just bring your willingness to get involved. Have old items sitting around at home? Help give them a second life by turning them into haunted treasures. We are looking for donations of materials such as books, cardboard, paper products, craft supplies, pill bottles, wine corks, paint, dollar-store lanterns, twine, and other items that can be repurposed into spooky set pieces. Registration is not required, but it is encouraged. Registering helps us plan for available workspace, materials, and supplies so we can make sure everyone has what they need to participate.
