Overview
The Art League of New Britain invites artists to submit work to Bodies & Faces: The Art of Figure and Portrait, a juried exhibition celebrating artwork created through direct observation of the human figure and portrait. Accepted works will be selected by juror Susan Strauss.
Eligibility
Open to artists ages 18 and older. Discounted entry fees available to ALNB members.
Media & subject
This exhibition welcomes a wide range of styles and media, from classical realism to contemporary and abstract interpretations of the human form.
Submissions
Artists may submit up to five entries.
Awards
Four cash awards totaling $375 presented after in-person review of the accepted artwork.
