Irfan Kasban is undertaking a long-term research residency at NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore focused on a project titled Port of Reciprocity, with special focus on Acoustic Sculptures and Communal Activations for the Burn-out Artist.

Research Focus
The residency examines trauma and the potential of ritual healing through performance. The artist will investigate socially-accepted notions of noise pollution in Singapore's public housing estates, where sound spillages are regarded as nuisances and boundaries between individual and communal life are strictly compartmentalised.
