An artist or collective in plastic and visual arts will be invited to immerse themselves in the neighborhoods to use creation as a lens to reinvent dialogue among residents, elected officials, and public space. The project aims to involve residents in a collaborative creative process through outdoor workshops, fostering collective and decentralized creation.
The residency, titled "Artistic forms, democratic spaces & citizen participation," focuses on art as a civic tool. It seeks projects that investigate local democratic practices, engage communities through workshops, and co-construct shared art leading to a public exhibition. The artist's mission is to empower citizen expression through sensitive mapping, reappropriation of voting tools, or collaborative micro-architectures.
Applications will be evaluated by a mixed jury, including a Citizen College (composed of randomly selected residents or neighborhood committee members) alongside cultural professionals and local elected officials.
