Get matched →In collaboration with Indigenous Chic and Washington State Indigenous Education Association, ArtsEd Washington is excited to announce our 2026 coloring book titled “Color for the Arts: Indigenous Voices of Washington”.
This book will celebrate the diversity of Indigenous creativity across geography and generations, while amplifying its representation in Washington schools! We encourage both emerging artists and experienced artists to contribute original artwork that reflects Indigenous values, teachings, nature, traditions, and contemporary Native life.
Strong submissions will be original artwork (not created by artificial intelligence), black-and-white line art only with line weights thick enough to print clearly (no color fills, no grayscale shading unless you specifically want that). For every book sold at retail through the ArtsEd Washington website, one will be donated to an under-resourced school. We also plan to offer each selected artist a free book and a small stipend. (The amount will be determined by funding that is still TBA.)
Within a few weeks of submission, you’ll receive a follow up message from [email protected].
