Fundación Ses12naus opens the call for its 2026–2027 artistic residency programme, aimed at visual artists and curators interested in developing projects in dialogue with the context of Ibiza. Conceived as a space for research, creation and exchange, the programme accompanies projects from an initial approach to the territory through to their development and public presentation.

The residency is structured around two on-site stays on the island, separated by a period of remote follow-up and continued work. A total of four projects will be selected from the Balearic Islands, Spain, and Europe.

  • Research and exploration — Autumn 2026: Become familiar with the island context, begin research processes, and establish links with local agents, spaces and communities.
  • Production, development and public presentation — Spring 2027: Develop and materialise projects, culminating with a public presentation of the processes and results.

Between the two phases, the team at Fundación Ses12naus will actively follow up on the projects and provide support during their conceptualisation and development.

The call is open to artistic and curatorial practices capable of establishing meaningful relationships with Ibiza, its communities, its imaginaries and its cultural and natural heritage.

  • Honoraria of 2,100 EUR for the residency and public activity
  • Travel expenses (up to 330 EUR per phase for international applicants)
  • Production budget of 3,000 EUR for final presentation, plus 200 EUR for the public activity
  • Accommodation and travel within the island
  • Submission deadline: 30 September 2026
