Overview
Applications are open for ceramic artists and potters to join a curated pottery market hosted inside Sunken Studio, a working ceramics studio in Leeds. This is a celebration of clay bringing together functional pottery, tableware, vessels, decorative pieces, and sculpture. All participating makers are invited to a glaze clinic before the market, an informal session to troubleshoot glaze issues with specialists and connect with fellow makers.

Eligibility
We welcome applications from ceramic artists and potters at all stages of their practice, including emerging and established makers. You should have a considered ceramic practice and a collection of finished work ready for sale.
Display spaces
- Trolley space: Three movable shelves (approximately 70 × 60 cm each)
- Half bench space: Approximately 120 × 120 cm
- Tables and shelving are provided; you may bring additional display materials to personalise your stall
Fees
- £50 per day (VAT included)
- Apply for one day or both days
- Includes: display space, promotion through Sunken Studio's website, social media and newsletter, and an invitation to the glaze clinic
- Fees must be paid in advance to secure your place
Requirements
- All stallholders must hold valid Public Liability Insurance (available through CuratorSpace, for example)
- You must be present during the market to set up, present, and sell your own work
- Work must be finished and ready for sale; seconds, test pieces, or clearance stock are not suitable for this market
Minimum price guidance
- Small bowl, dish or vase (under 12cm): minimum £12
- Large cereal bowl, small plate or vase (under 16cm): minimum £15
- Large plate, bowl or vase (over 16cm): minimum £20
- Espresso cups: minimum £18
- Mugs: minimum £22
- Very small items under 3cm: minimum £5
