About
Overview
ArteSumapaz is a non-profit arts and culture organization located on magical terrain in the Andean mountains, about four hours outside Bogotá. The self-directed residency program is designed for visual artists, musicians, writers, architects, clay artists, performers, and other makers. Artists have full access to studio spaces throughout a 230-acre campus that includes a natural park.
Duration & Accommodation
- Residency duration: 1–3 months
- Private room with queen-size bed, private bathroom with hot water, and desk
- Other accommodation and pricing options available—contact directly or during interview
Studio Spaces & Support
Artists have access to shared painting studio, shared 3D studio, shared movement studio, two private writer's rooms, and shared music studio. At the beginning of each month, the residency reviews the needs of each resident.
Activities & Community
Artists are welcome to participate in weekly open critique sessions (group discussions), share workshops or exhibitions with the ArteSumapaz community, and engage with nearby towns such as San Bernardo Cundinamarca and Pandi.
