Get matched →Traverse, a cultural association established in 2005, seeks a photographer for a two-month artist residency within the Occitanie regional framework. The residency will take place in Haute-Bigorre and emphasizes participatory and community-engaged practice. The 2027 edition theme is Perspective(s).
Founded in 2005 by dedicated volunteer artists, Traverse has become a cultural pillar in Haute-Bigorre and Hautes-Pyrénées. Recognized by the DRAC Occitanie as an AFA (Atelier de Fabrique Artistique) since January 2020, it operates across three activity areas: pluridisciplinary programming (live performance, contemporary music, cinema, photography), support for contemporary artistic creation, and mediation and residency programs.
Proposals must be participatory, inventive, and resonate with the Haute-Bigorre territory. Open to artist collectives. Projects must be specifically designed for this residency and its territory.
Selection will be conducted jointly by the DRAC Occitanie and a jury composed by Traverse.
