Overview

Fundación Ama Amoedo will award 10 grants to support the Latin American artistic field, with a predominant focus on South America. The grants aim to provide resources and opportunities to strengthen the art ecosystem and its institutions.

Grant Categories

Applicants may apply in one of four categories: Artists, Art and Social Engagement, Organizations, or Publications. Each category has specific conditions for application.

Award

  • Total: 10 grants of $10,000 USD
  • Artists category: one year to carry out the project from the grant award date
  • Publications category: two years to complete the project

Eligibility

  • At least 18 years old
  • Artists, artistic collectives, non-profit organisations, institutions and foundations
  • Significant connection with Latin America by nationality, cultural heritage, or project location
  • For group applications: one person must be designated as the project holder/legally responsible
