Overview

Usine Utopik, a contemporary creation center in Tessy-Bocage, Normandy, invites diploma-holding artists with professional practice to develop a site-specific in situ project during a 54-day residency. The residence will conclude with an exhibition presentation.

Eligibility

• Diploma in visual arts (type and level not specified—verify with organizer)
• Professional practice in contemporary creation
• Able to justify professional artist status
• Must provide SIRET number or document proving ability to invoice
• Must provide civil liability insurance certificate
• Available for full 45 days mandatory presence
• Accept approach of openness, meeting, and mediation with audiences

Award & support

• Stipend: €2,250 gross
• Production costs: up to €1,500 (receipts required)

Application requirements

Build an intention statement truly conceived for the greenhouse and Tessy-Bocage territory. Show how your practice adapts to strong natural light, thermal fluctuations, and the site's scale. Demonstrate capacity for site-specific work, dialogue with audiences, and ability to complete the residency.
