Call for Submissions: The Ontario Miniature Print Exhibition (TOMPE2026)

Overview

Print London invites Canadian-based professional artists to submit up to 4 miniature prints for a juried exhibition. The exhibition will be held in the Cohen Commons Gallery of the John Labatt Visual Arts Centre at Western University in London, Ontario. Awards will be presented at an opening reception. The winner of First Prize will be invited to present an artist talk at a later date.

• Submission deadline: September 4, 2026 (postmark)
• Exhibition: November 12 to December 3, 2026
• Opening reception and awards: Thursday, November 12, 5-7pm

Eligibility

Canadian-based professional artists. Prints must be completed after June 2023 and not previously submitted to Print London exhibitions.

Media & size

• Up to 4 prints in any printmaking medium or combination of mediums (relief, etching, lithography, silkscreen, digital, 3D prints)
• Support/paper size must be exactly 8 x 8 inches (20 x 20 cm)
• For 3D prints, dimensions must not exceed 8 x 8 x 8 inches (20 x 20 x 20 cm)
• Photographs and machine-produced reproductions will not be accepted

Fees & submission

Entry fee of $40.00 payable online with your digital entry form by credit card, PayPal or eTransfer to [email protected]. Entry fee includes exhibition catalogue and return registered mail (non-refundable). Concessions available for under-employed artists; contact organizer by email.

Jury & notification

The jury will select prints to be exhibited and prize winners. Jurors are Eric Euler (Visual Artist, Instructional Assistant Printmaking, McMaster University), Cassandra Getty (Curator of Art, Museum London), and Tricia Johnson (Visual Artist, Assistant Professor in Studio Art, Western University). Artists will be notified of the Jury's decision via email and artists with no prints selected for exhibition will have their work returned after the exhibition closes.
