UWS Signature / Two-Star Exhibition celebrating "America, the Beautiful" in honor of the nation's birthday. Open to UWS and CVC members with Two-Star and/or Signature status only.

- Submission deadline: August 21, 2026, 10:00 PM
- Painting delivery: Monday August 31 & Tuesday September 1, 2026, Noon–4:00 PM
- Opening reception & awards: Friday, September 4, 2026, 6:00–8:00 PM (awards at 6:30 PM)
- Judging: September 4, 2026
- Exhibition: September 4–26, 2026
- Painting pickup: Wednesday, September 28, 2026, 10:00 AM–Noon
Eligibility & Restrictions
Open to UWS members with Two-Star and/or Signature status only, and CVC members with Two-Star and/or Signature status. All works must be original, completed within the last two years, and not previously exhibited in a juried or judged UWS or CVC-sponsored exhibit. Works created under instruction or that are copies of another artist's work are not eligible.
Media & Size
- Unframed image minimum: 100 square inches (e.g., 10″×10″)
- Unframed image maximum: 22″×30″
- Artists encouraged to paint on watercolor paper, canvas, clay board, or experimental surfaces
- Work may be varnished or glazed for protection
- Collage/mixed media must use at least 80% water-based media; other media may not be dominant
- 3-dimensional found objects acceptable but not dominant
Submission & Fees
- Submit painting title, medium, size, price, and image for each entry
- Biography and artist statement optional
- Entry details, digital image, and fees must be received by August 21, 2026, 10:00 PM
