ARCAthens offers multiple residency programs for visual artists, curators, and scholars, including fully-funded live/work spaces that allow participants to be immersed in Athens' ongoing cultural renaissance and respond to it.

Programs

  • Athens Residency: Visual Art and Curatorial Residency Fellowships of fully-funded live/work spaces
  • Virtual Residency (AVR): Financial and institutional support with digital platforms, launched in 2020, featuring artists and curators from Greece and the Bronx in monthly conversations on Instagram
  • NOLA/NYC Research Fellowship: Fully funded opportunity across three settings—six weeks in New Orleans, one month in New York City, and two weeks in Sag Harbor
  • Residency at EPI: Partnership with Lafayette College's Experimental Printmaking Institute in Easton, Pennsylvania; fellowships awarded on an invitational basis
