This is an international online art exhibition that invites painters, digital artists, photographers, and mixed-media creators to explore the emotional, cultural, and visual impact of black in relation to color.
For BLACK IS BLACK, Palm Art Gallery invites artists to explore the remarkable relationship between black and color. Despite its title, this exhibition is a celebration of color, light, and visual energy: the ways black helps everything around it find its presence. Black can set the stage, establish a rhythm, or give the eye somewhere to rest. We welcome both representational and abstract interpretations, across styles and media. Black does not have to dominate the artwork, but it should have a meaningful role in how color is experienced.
