Overview
Artists of all disciplines are invited to apply for a self-directed, artist-funded residency at Green Olive Arts in Tetouan, Morocco. Between the grand views of the Rif Mountains and the busy labyrinth of the ancient Arab walled medina, the residency offers focused production and research along with creative community and cultural immersion.

Who May Apply
Open to emerging, mid-career and established visual artists, writers, performers, scholars and other global creatives based anywhere in the world. Spouses/partners and children allowed for full stay (non-collaborators); pets not allowed.
Studio & Facilities
Shared (2–3 artists) and private studios are available. Facilities include painting workspace (oil), easels, printmaking workspaces with etching press, book arts facilities, dedicated wood shop with woodworking tools, and common areas with printers, scanner, and large sinks.
What's Included
The residency fee includes studio space, arrival/departure ground transportation, coffee and tea in the studio, use of laundry facilities, a walking tour of the ancient medina, an Artisans of Tetouan visit to meet local craftspeople, weekly artist lunches, an introductory Moroccan Arabic lesson, community networking and project consultation, online promotion, basic translation, and a culminating open studios event.
What's Not Included
Travel, housing, most meals, and supplies are not included. The residency does not provide housing or most meals, but recommended housing providers are shared and artists may book themselves. For additional cost, local and country-wide tours, artisan workshops, guides, translators, crating services, extended language learning, homestays and meals with local families can be arranged.

- Application fee: 200 Moroccan Dirham (MAD)
- Residency fees: 10,000 MAD for shared studio (3 weeks) or 15,000 MAD for private studio (3 weeks)
- 2,000 MAD non-refundable deposit required upon acceptance to reserve residency space
