One-month artist residency with time and space to explore creative practice
Spring City, UT

The Neuro is a peer-led artist residency program for neurodisrupted individuals—those who have experienced traumatic brain injury, strokes, multiple concussions, or similar neurological disruption. The program provides time and space to explore your creative process in a non-pathologizing environment that recognizes art, nature, community, and movement as supports for neuroplasticity (brain rewiring) and healing.

  • Location: Spring City, UT
  • Duration: One-month stay
  • Start dates: 15th of each month
  • Rolling admissions

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Within two weeks of submitting your inquiry, you will be invited to a virtual call with the program team. The application asks about who you are, how you found the program, your creative art practice, the neurological disruption you live with or have experienced, and logistical details.

  • Your creative art practice (all disciplines welcome)
  • Your experience with or lived experience of neurological disruption
  • Your interest in exploring creativity, process, and artistic practice

Open to neurodisrupted individuals of all artistic backgrounds—including those who may not yet identify as artists but feel drawn to creative practices.
