Get matched →Eix Jove convenes the VI edition of the Creative Action Group (Grup d'Acció Creativa), a project supporting and accompanying young people's creative work and promoting cultural projects in Barcelona's Eixample district.
Open to people aged 16 to 25 years old (inclusive) at the time of the call. No previous artistic experience is required.
Participants must complete the participation form, which includes writing a personal presentation and explaining their artistic interests. Indicate your availability for the weekly group meetings. No prior artistic experience or personal project proposal is necessary.
The service coordination team will select participants based mainly on availability and quality of the written presentation.
The group may propose all types of projects within the Eixample district that relate to programming in district facilities, activate district heritage, emerge from community processes, revitalize Eixample spaces, or collaborate with local organizations. Resulting projects will be programmed within 'Eixam. Art(s) Jove(s) de l'Eixample'.
Group meetings are weekly on Wednesdays from 17:00 to 18:30 in the Altillo floor of the Transformadores Building. Participants will receive support from an expert mediator to develop activities, help with project production and ideation, and serve as liaison between the organization, group, and cultural venues.
