Overview

The Neuköllner Kunstpreis is an annual award organized by the Cultural Department of Neukölln District in cooperation with the Culturnetzwerk Neukölln e.V. and STADT UND LAND Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH. The prize honors excellent visual artists of the Neukölln art scene with a total of 6,000 EUR. A professional jury nominates seven artists for a group exhibition in the Galerie im Saalbau, where the three prize winners are then determined.

Eligibility

  • Completed formal artistic training
  • And/or demonstrable multiple years of professional artistic practice in visual arts
  • Resident of Neukölln for at least six months or operating a studio there

  • Submission period: August 1 to September 15, 2026
  • Deadline: Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 23:59
  • Applications submitted after 00:01 will not be considered
  • Submit exclusively via online form on the application page

Exhibition

Seven nominated artists will be featured in a group exhibition at the Galerie im Saalbau, where the prize winners are selected.

Eligibility
