Onlanden, northernmost Drenthe; Wall House #2, Groningen; Drents Museum de Buitenplaats, Eelde

Under the title Into Nature: Haunted by Waters, twelve international artists are presenting work at the Onlanden, as part of the fifth edition in the Into Nature series of international exhibitions. They have created new work in response to the landscape – a young marshland area in the northernmost part of Drenthe. The exhibition's title poetically expresses humanity's fascination with water and the idea of being literally pursued by water. The likelihood of this happening diminishes if we strike a balance in the way we interact with our environment. That is why the concept of reciprocity is woven throughout the exhibition.

The artworks can be experienced along various cycling and walking routes. From the swaying reed beds near the observation tower in the heart of the Onlanden to the Woldzigt oil and corn mill in Roderwolde, visitors are guided past unique locations with the aim of experiencing not only the art but also the extraordinary landscape.
