Name of Residency: FJ’s Artist Residency The F Project Residency is open to emerging and established artists from all over Australia and around the world. We offer a winter Residency grant for up to 3 separate artists for up to 4 weeks, and an open fee-paying Residency year round. The FJ’s Residency Program is a grant that aims to provide a space for artists to further their art practice in a stimulating, comfortable, creative and supportive environment. We hope to build strong connections and meaningful relationships with other arts communities around the world. The F Project residence, situated in one of the oldest buildings in town, features a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, loungeroom, four large bedrooms and three bathrooms. As well as the extensive residence, there is a beautiful mature garden for artists to enjoy. Art studios and printing press may also be available by arrangement. This opportunity is open to individuals as well as small groups, and we encourage collaborative groups to apply. Residency Programme since: 2021 Description of Organisation: The F Project is a self-funded, volunteer run, not for profit organisation in Warrnambool, dedicated to arts development and advocacy. We run an established complex of artist studios and workshop spaces, a community art gallery and a thriving shop showcasing works by local artisans. The purposes of the association are to support contemporary art practice, the development of local artists through professional development, and the creative exploration of social issues and engagement with our diverse community through challenging, meaningful arts projects. How to reach by boat: There are no regular commercial boat services travelling to Warrnambool, but it is a seaside city.
