About
Overview
Four sculptors will be selected to exhibit completed works on permanent plinths in Brown Hart Gardens, an elevated garden square in Mayfair between Bond Street and Oxford Street. The sculptures will form an integral part of the landscape, creating dialogue between art and hospitality.
About the space
Brown Hart Gardens is undergoing transformation to become a vibrant destination for art, culture and community. The Beaumont Mayfair, a luxury Art Deco hotel, overlooks the gardens alongside Pearl, a new Mediterranean restaurant. Selected sculptures will become focal points for hotel guests, local residents, and visitors.
Exhibition period
Works will be exhibited for 12 months from November 2026 through November 2027.
Eligibility
- Work must be completed and ready for display—no proposals accepted
- Work must be available for the entire exhibition period
- Work must be suitable for outdoor display
- Work must be safe to sit on plinth without anchors or fixings, or with fixings suitable for a bronze plinth
- Maximum footprint: 1405 × 805 mm
What we are seeking
We welcome sculptures that will sit well within this prestigious setting and be sensitive to the listed building and gardens; are of suitable scale, craftsmanship, and material sensitivity; and are durable, weather-resistant, and safe for an unsupervised public environment.

Support provided
Exhibiting artists will receive £5,000 per chosen work. Transport and installation costs, storage, packaging and crates, and deinstall and return of work at exhibition end will be covered.
