Powerhouse Arts Printshop offers print fabrication services with 125+ years of combined team experience, specializing in non-traditional and ambitious media printed at large scales.
Equipment & Capabilities
- Sias Semi-Automatic Screenpress: capable of printing 100″ × 53″ in a single pass
- Other presses handle images 30″ × 40″ and smaller
- Three semiautomatic presses, manual t-shirt presses, and large-scale hand printing equipment
Services
- Consultation: virtual or in-person to discuss project scope, timeline, and technical needs
- Design: digital and hand-drawn film separations, color matching, layout development
- Screen Prep: large scale film output, halftone capabilities, screen coating, exposing and stretching
- Screenprinting: wide range of substrates accommodating projects of all sizes
- Finishing: hand deckling, embossing, trimming, spraying, mounting, hand curation, industrial paper cutting
Publishing Program
Powerhouse Arts has launched a Publishing program that produces limited edition prints. Each artist produces an edition of approximately 30-50 prints. Artists receive 50% of the proceeds from sales; PHA receives 50% which is redirected back into the Printshop.
