About the Call
The marathon seeks to encourage creative, innovative, and journalistic coverage of Rock al Parque's 30th edition, recognizing content that stands out for narrative quality and demonstrates how the festival has consolidated as a collective experience strengthening the city's social fabric and sense of belonging.
Three Categories
- Category 1 – Cronica 25 anos BibloRed: Written chronicles narrating the festival's development from personal experience, territory, and the relationship between citizens and events, providing context, depth, and stories of cultural, symbolic, and social value.
- Category 2 – Fotografia: Photographic series or individual images capturing the essence of Rock al Parque 30 from an aesthetic, artistic, narrative, and documentary perspective.
- Category 3 – Video: Audiovisual coverage of a maximum of 3 minutes narrating the festival in an innovative, interactive, and engaging way for different audiences.
Two-Phase Process
In Phase 1, proposals are submitted through the Invitaciones Culturales platform. A selection committee will choose up to ten initiatives per category; those selected receive press accreditation to cover the festival October 10–12, 2026 at Parque Metropolitano Simon Bolivar. In Phase 2, finished projects are submitted; the three best initiatives in each category receive cash incentives.
Awards
- First place: 5 million pesos per category
- Second place: 3 million pesos per category
- Third place: 2 million pesos per category
Publication
The three best pieces in each category will be published in the digital exhibition Memoria ciudadana de Rock al Parque in the Biblioteca Digital de Bogota.
