Get help here: Cultural Funding Consultation Program description The Reinickendorf district office supports priority projects of decentralized cultural work of independent cultural initiatives (such as art and cultural associations, independent artist groups, artists, etc.) by means of grants within the framework of project funding. Support is provided for events and projects that enrich cultural life in the district (e.g. through innovative approaches or the promotion of inter-district and international exchange). The projects must contribute to the development and safeguarding of a "cultural infrastructure" in the Reinickendorf district. Fee costs for professional artists are funded up to a maximum of €250, and up to €200 can be applied for advertising costs.Purchases (such as exhibition accessories, dance flooring, partition walls, etc.) that strengthen the cultural infrastructure of the district and its locations can be made subject to available funds. Institution District Office Reinickendorf The cultural offices of the Berlin districts administer the district cultural funds, which are intended to benefit decentralized cultural work in the districts. This is intended to create/maintain a lively art and culture scene in the districts. In addition, the funded projects should be particularly noticed by the neighbourhood. Only events and projects that enrich cultural life in the district (e.g. are innovative or promote inter-district and international exchange) and take into account the idea of "cultural infrastructure development" (e.g. the development and safeguarding of cultural locations) are eligible for funding. In this respect, the projects to be funded must be linked to the district. The funding is shortfall funding. When calculating the amount of funding, expenses that are necessary for the implementation of a project (invitation cards or posters, fees, postage, Gema fees, costumes, stage design, piano tuning, etc.) can be taken into account in accordance with the statutory provisions, in particular the state budget regulations and the implementing regulations. Development costs will not be reimbursed. The project must include an appropriate amount of own work (e.g. construction, hanging, organization or coordination). In the case of cultural events, the funding amount must be in reasonable proportion to the expected number of participants/visitors and any estimated attendance fees/entrance fees.
