This fund is intended to support collaborative projects that strengthen cultural and creative exchange between the two countries. Application deadline: January 30, 2026. January 16, 2026 Closed Hans Gerritsen/Dutch National Ballet The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mexico has opened the Enlace Creativo 2026 call, a funding program aimed at supporting innovative, collaborative, and high-impact projects that promote cultural exchange between Mexico and the Netherlands. The initiative targets cultural organizations and creative professionals seeking to develop binational projects with a strong public dimension. The call is open to public and private cultural institutions —including museums, cultural centers, universities, and foundations— as well as festivals, biennials, independent platforms, artistic collectives, cultural agents and managers, artists, designers, individual or duo creators, and studios within the creative industries, such as audiovisual design or digital media. Projects from all artistic and creative disciplines are eligible, including visual and performing arts, gastronomy, music, literature, design, architecture, and film. Selected projects must take place in Mexico during 2026 —with proposals outside Mexico City welcome— and include a confirmed partner from the Netherlands or Mexico, with clearly defined roles and responsibilities. Proposals must demonstrate technical, financial, and scheduling feasibility, include a relevant public component, and actively contribute to strengthening the bilateral cultural relationship. Projects should align with at least one of the following thematic priorities: human rights (LGBTIQ+ or gender equality), biodiversity, or sustainability (climate justice or circular design). Preference will be given to proposals that foster new interdisciplinary collaborations, demonstrate audience impact, address Embassy priority areas, and show potential for long-term continuity. The Embassy will provide funding of up to €10,000 (or its equivalent in Mexican pesos) to cover fees, transportation, production, outreach, or other project-related costs. The application deadline is Friday, January 30, 2026.
